The initial conversation that led to Anita and Shoe’s intimate Hindu ceremony on September 20, 2025, began on July 25, 2025. This set a short, eight-week window for execution, defined by precise execution at their residence. Their vision required a celebration contained within a pristine white tent. The ceremonial focus was a stage draped in clean white linen, formally anchored by a pair of large lanterns placed symmetrically next to the platform. For the adjacent dining, a rustic wooden pine white table provided a grounded contrast. The signature design detail utilized gold and white streamers in two specific ways: they were draped across the ceiling of the tent and were applied to every other chair, meticulously alternating between gold and white. This tailored affair, where every element of placement and material was specific, communicated the couple’s preference for bespoke quality and uncompromising privacy.

With bare feet on the grass, surrounded by their nearest and dearest, the couple exchanged vows as the setting sun painted the sky with hues of orange and pink. The happy couple met in 2010 through a mutual friend. After seeing her picture, Leel contacted her under the pretense of seeking tutoring (both in medicine). The tutoring sessions led to deeper and personal conversations. They both said it was evident that there was chemistry between them. The first 5 years of their relationship was long distance (New York + Philly), and that led them to experience several trials. However, they both agreed that with God and their love for each other brought them through.

On 7/4, Jenny married her best friend. "Leel is the husband that God created for me. We love without judgment. Leel is God fearing, forgiving, kind and patient. We learned never to take each other for granted."
