The happy couple met in 2010 through a mutual friend. After seeing her picture, Leel contacted her under the pretense of seeking tutoring (both in medicine). The tutoring sessions led to deeper and personal conversations. They both said it was evident that there was chemistry between them. The first 5 years of their relationship was long distance (New York + Philly), and that led them to experience several trials. However, they both agreed that with God and their love for each other brought them through.
On 7/4, Jenny married her best friend. "Leel is the husband that God created for me. We love without judgment. Leel is God fearing, forgiving, kind and patient. We learned never to take each other for granted."
